Malty, buttery. Shortbread. Ginger syrup. Some raisins and dates.

Palate

Smooth at first then drying on green oak and spices. Custard and apples.\rHint of toffee. More ginger.

Finish

Dry and warm. Slightly astringent.

A well balanced dram. With a good malty heart.
