Nose

Grassy, spicy, and peppery at first. Coriander seed and leaves, green bell pepper, and fresh chilli. Softens to honey-roasted parsnips, caramel-chocolate digestive biscuits, and hints of oregano and creamy soft cheese.

Palate

Light-medium. Dates, toffee sauce, thick dark chocolate, ginger wine, and very strong coffee on sponge fingers. A hint of beef and soy sauce. The savoury herbal notes remain but are muted.

Finish

Medium-long. Tannins bring a hop-like bitterness, balanced with caramel.

Well rounded and sippable.
