Nose
Deep, oaky. Damp warehouse. Earthy. A sweet note in the back. Vanilla toffee. Ground coriander. Sherried. Dark chocolate, touch of ground coffee.
Palate
Sweet at start then getting fizzy on the tongue. But alcohol is under control. Cider apple, ginger ale. Amazing, oak is more present on the nose than on the palate.
Finish
Dry, spicy with a sweet aftertaste. Toffee apple maybe.
Comment
I was expecting more oak on the palate. A definite sherry influence. Fruit and wood are well integrated. Reminds me of calvados!
