Nose

Clotted-cream ice cream. Lime curd, leaning into key lime pie. Buttery shortbread and vanilla sugar. Tart applesauce and porridge oats. Macadamia nut and salted popcorn.

Palate

Medium. Lime curd continues with cooked apples and caramelising sugar (tarte tatin). Peanut brittle, wholewheat sponge cake, and sesame seeds. Milky tea and shredded wheat cereal.

Finish

Medium-short, on lime sherbet.

Comment

A nicely composed single malt. A drop of water brings out more honeyed fruit notes.
