Nose

Tropical mango, papaya, pineapple and lychee with some lime zest, pickled gherkin, copper, beeswax and dusty floorboards.

Palate

Floral and fruity, particularly fermented pineapple and lychee. Vanilla, more of that gherkin, plus a distinct rose character. There’s a touch of quinine bitterness on the mid-palate too.

Finish

Parma Violets, potpourri and cereal. Breakfast of champions.

Incredibly floral – not really the sort of thing I associate with American whiskey, but it’s interesting!
