Nose
Resiny. Rich. Complex. Exotic spices. Nutmeg, long peppercorn. Opens on luscious dessert notes. Plum pudding.
Palate
Crisp, lively. A burst of spices sweeps away cooked plums and raisins. Chocolate but as the Aztec would drink it: mixed with chilli.
Finish
Dry, long. Liquorice.
Comment
A rich character which does not seem to allow the sauternes cask leave its sweet print. It shows through with water however. Broad, complex and enjoyable.
