Nose

Pleasant aromas of herbal re-fill sherry and hints of barley. Good depth with developing coffee, honey and a whiff of smoke.

Palate

Quite sweet with apricot and barley. The citrus and stony notes take the edge off the sweetness. It darkens towards the middle as the malt and treacle coated sherried dried fruit appears. \n

Finish

Long and crisp with the citrus and mineral notes continuing to balance the treacly sherry. \n

Comment

Not the most complex of malts on the planet but the balance and the finish are quite impressive.
