Nose
Dusky and damp tones of candlewax, wood polish and wet bark. Eventually a clean quality arises with yoghurt covered cranberries, lemon zest and warm milk.
Palate
Clean and fragrant. Gorse flowers, elderberries, vanilla pods and pollen soften the palate with white pepper lifting a subtle spice through.
Finish
Short and crisp, but with a softly powdered consistency.
Comment
Sitting at my grandmother’s dressing table, trying on perfumes and stealing the occasional Turkish Delight.
