Nose

Some attractive singed edges to start alongside a (not unattractive) hint of vegetable sulphur. As this flies off there's sweet spices and pulpy fruits while a rumble of earthiness beds everything down.

Palate

None of the sulphur is apparent here. Instead there's a mix of fruit syrup,\ralmond, hessian, and solid palate.

Finish

Ripe and lightly gingery.

Great balance - true to its distillery character but a slightly softer edge\rthan usual.
