Nose

Phenolic. Creosote. Light smoke. Sea brine. With a mineral touch. Like pebbles in the sun. Slowly, more tar and liquorice too. A malty note. Cut grass drying, with a bonfire in the distance.

Palate

Sweet and oily. More liquorice and tar (like the 'pastilles du mineur'

Finish

Dry, soothing on almond notes.

Comment

A well-balanced islander. Again, a summer dram. With shellfish. It does not need water for me.
