Nose
Slightly fat and doughy (cookie mix) with a glucose like quality. With water, there's big sweet notes, toasted marshmallow, chestnut and a hint of meatiness in the background.
Palate
Very clean, ripe and chewy.A little hot when neat (needs water),then stewed rhubarb, roasted malt before caramel toffee comes through as does stewed plum. Good acidity. Well balanced.
Finish
Dries a little quickly.
Comment
A perfectly pleasant potation.
