Nose

At first, lots of dry spices — coriander seed, nutmeg, a touch of earthy bay. Then dry wood, toothpaste, and wood sap.

Palate

Slightly green, like freshly growing branches. There’s a lot of nutmeg and clove spice, along with maple syrup and black pepper.

Finish

Warming and zippy — really sticks to the front and mid-palate.

A dry, intense rye that will wake you up out of a slumber.
