Nose

Like walking into an old sweet shop — sherbet lemons, and a little liquorice, pear drops, and Fruit Salads.

Palate

Fairly light: there’s some saltwater taffy, yellow Starburst, and a bit of chilli spice that kicks through mid-sip.

Finish

Disappears quite quickly leaving a little tingling spice at the back of the palate.

Comment

I wanted more from this whisky — it just felt a little light, even if it did bring back some serious nostalgia.
