Nose

Gentle and perfumed: fresh herb, cinnamon, orange blossom honey/burnt orange peel, redcurrant, caramelised fruit, prune tart.

Palate

Soft with a prickly bite mid-palate where the orange zest and hickory wood emerges, then smoothes out again. Vanilla and mocha coffee.

Finish

Woody, then mellow fruits.

Comment

A classic, complex wheated bourbon. Great material for an Old Fashioned.
