Tasting Notes

Nose

Orange zest, incense and peat smoke. A shrine on Islay.Fleshy fruits, black olive with assertive smoke, buddleia, hardtoffee and roasting sweet spice. The balsamic note suggests age.

Palate

Big smoke and a solid mix of fruit cake and tarred twine. Substantial and complex, though needing a touch of water to show it's got a gentle and fruity side.

Finish

A smooth build-up of all the complexities on the palate.

Comment

Refined,bold but elegant. Buy one.
